not about mine, and not about a bg, but still about a mazda.

I was riding with my dad on I-43 today and saw a van pulled over on an off ramp, and the van was pulling a trailer. On the trailer was a white bf mazda 323 gtx rally car. It had mazda decals on the rear quarter panels, and I think quite a few other decals, but I couldn't get a good look at it, as we didn't stop to look. Anybody know who that was? The guy was on the northbound side on the francis creek exit ramp. Looks like the tow van was having trouble. I'm just curious, as it looked to be in really good shape, lol.

Went to the junkyard today. Found a newer saturn that had projector headlights and foglights. Grabbed everything for $35. Going to eventually do a projector retrofit on my 323. Couldn't go wrong for that price.

Not a bad price, esp for the fogs. But word of advice on the headlights. If they use halogen bulbs, using hid bulbs wont net the best results, but it will still work non the less.

Yeah, I know they won't be as good as true hid projectors, but I figure that any projectors will be better than what I have right now. I don't have the money to buy the good stuff like you have, so I gotta make do with what I can afford. But the headlights won't be done any time soon. I gotta save up for some clear lenses, and I gotta read up on how to do it. The fog lights will hopefully be installed within the next month. I gotta clean them up a bit, and try and find some HID kit that will fit. The normal HID bulbs are to long to fit. You don't happen to know of any 899 style hid bulbs that are short enough to fit, do you?

                            PM'd.

I figured I'll probably be going home tmrw, (where the garage, air compressor and all the fun tools are) to work on my car. Fix the dropped shifter, maybe heat the ball and move it up for shorter shifts, cut the strut perches to get moar low and possibly get the es300 fogs wired up, and another alignment if i cut the perches.

That should be doable, right? i hope that, bc thats my plan since it looks like I have to drop the exhaust.

I mentioned about a week ago I had that bird stuck in my bumper. I jokingly said it was a bald eagle. Well, my car was less than 3 feet from hitting one today. It was on the road, eating a dead racoon on a blind corner. The thing didn't even move when I came around. I was like Wtf, as I've only seen one before in my life. There are supposedly less than 100 in Ontario. Kinda cool, I wish I had my camera with me.
