Swapped out stock front subframe for 3rd gen escort one. Re-installed the stock 19mm front bar with poly bushings. Got poly bushings for the rack as well. Was enough work swapping the whole subframe. If I don't like the how it does, I have the 3rd gen escort front bar and poly bushings to swap in.

Nothing is "straight forward" but im making it work. im not super pleased with how the hood latch portion looks. but thats to be expected when butching & shifting things. It works & thats whats important

Sounds like hood pins may be in your future.

Probably not but but it'll be better than driving, then all of a sudden, all you see is 3 gtr vents on your windshield.

Hood pins aren't that bad. In fact, i think a set of aerocatch hood pins on his car would look pretty good.

I charged the A/C in mine yesterday. Even with R-134A, I got the vent temps down to ~58* at idle and ~45* when moving. That's good enough for me.

wet sandpapered them back witth 1500g and 2000g sandpaper while constantly running the hose over them. also on the red part on the hatch to get rid of the old black paint someone put on them.

before (it doesnt really show how cracked and **** the lights were)

Ive secretly stashed a low mile 2.5 kl with a mx3 gs tranny away in the back of my grandfathers garage with plans to but it in the pro, but I have changed my mine.

The kl is going into a vert 1.8 miata, instead, after I find one, that is. Then maybe down the road, a kl will go into the pro. That way I have a daily while I build.
