Hey I went to the drag strip today from 10:30 AM to 11 PM...it was the gran opening, didn't want to miss anything...... Guys, I'm sure that stateside you could not get this close to cars... Othet than that, I'm planning my next tuesday out and hope I get everything done to Maxine while i have the day off. I need to clay bar her.

Any recommendations on clay bar kits? If i can get it local, that would be wonderful.

The only stuff I use now is Riccardo claybar. It's the best of the best, but it's only available in Canada due to patent laws. But I know someone who sends it to me and my dad, as it's the best, and with my dad being the picky body man, he only uses the best. We have used Bilt-Hamber (imported it from england), clay magic, mothers, chemical guys, griots, pinnacle, sonus, wolfgang, and zymol in the past, but non of those worked as good as the riccardo. But the best out of the locally available were: Clay magic, mothers, and griots.

And as far as ebates go, I find whatever I need online, then go to ebates to see if they are a vendor with them. And 90% of the time, they are. Car Parts Auto sure are. Just click the "select a store" and go through the list, click on whatever store and it takes you to the stores regular website. Booya.

Finally climbed under mine to check it out. The front main seal needs to be replaced, the exhaust is... somewhat there, the passenger side axle needs a new boot and the shifter needs bushings in the worst way. Bronze-Oil bushings are on order from CorkSport. The ball joints and everything else look and feel great so far. I'm probably going to do the brakes with some inexpensive pads/rotors/shoes until I can afford to pick some LX brakes.

I want to get this baby lowered asap. Coming out of a Miata, stock height feels like I'm going to roll over. lol

eh well i have done a hand ful to my wagon. stuff like fixed the dam speed cable leak, got rid the squeel my steering wheel used to make, etc.
I did however pick up a paint restoration kit from Meguiars. Its sold at lots of auto stores but i found it at pep boys auto for $20 after a instant $7 savings. have not used it yet tho.
