ya those are solid times man, I'd be happy with that for street tires, especially if you're saying you could use more seat time. It'll only get better from here on lol

2.2 on street tires is pretty good Ace. My first time at the track, I pulled consistant 2.5-2.7 60 fts lol.

Jinx and MD323, you guys are talkin' in riddles haha. I'm assuming it was in an accident?

dont go slicks unless u got a better tranny. just get radials if anything. Im leaning toward BFG DRs.

bfg dr aren't that good. Hoosier and Mickey Thompson make much better ones.

BFGs worked just fine on my old GT, the wagon spins them through third though.

Well, I just spent two hours installing my CorkSport Bronze-Oil shift linkage bushings (and another hour afterward cleansing myself in the shower of all the grime that came off on me from the car) and I am severely disappointed in the result. Maybe I'm just expecting too much out of my shifter coming from a Miata, but these seem to have made little to no difference. The shifter feels the same and it still wobbles side to side when in gear. I dunno what else can be done to tighten the shifter up so I don't have to thrust my right hand out the passenger window to find 5th gear.

People made these things out like they were the end all of stuff you need to have on your car...

                      *sigh*

they are .. did you happen to take a look @ the transmission end of the shifter rods? you will need work there as well .

have you followed the threads on making a short shifter as well ?

do 1/2 the job get 1/2 the results

josh, theres a 3rd link at the transmission end that has the bushings too. Its not a bolt though, its a pin that you'll have to cut and replace with a bolt. I believe I've got some pictures in my thread somewhere.
edit- Just checked, page 19 in my build log I've got a few pictures of the 3rd link
