One of my coworkers was sucking up, and decided to scrape the ice off my windows for me. He scraped off one of my club stickers on my side window. Didn't earn any brownie points with me.

I took it for a test drive to see how bright the fog lights are..... And they are brighter than the stock headlights!!! lol, I can drive around with just the fog lights and actually see better with just those than with just the headlights. The stock headlights really suck.My family has lots of bg's!

In other news, my lifters still ticking randomly when the **** they want to. I see i'm going to have to pull the engine out and replace the tranny, clutch, wp, oil pump, timing belt, head gasket and oil pan gasket. and find one bolt for the valve cover and one bolt for the exhaust manifold.

What did I do today? went and got my studded tires out of storage, and checked the air in them: 40, 37, 37, 30. all aired up to 41 for tomorrow's first Ice rallyX at the newest location, Lake Wausau up by Wausau near Rib Mountain.
I was up in Wisconsin Rapids for a funeral last Thursday morning through the snow, and retarded drivers. In honor of our friend we went and hooned about on on some nifty back roads, but having only FWD and no releasing ebrake made it not as fun as the guys in their sti's and wrxes and talon AWD's. Then we went on Lake Dubay in a buddy's BMW 5-series, and the POSentra, some old beater sentra. a wrx and and evo on studs were playing too. drove back home, it wasn't snowing as much anymore. Traffic was still going like 45 on the frickin interstate.

I made a drastic improvement to throttle response today. I had a problem that was getting worse so slowly, I didn't really think it was a problem until today. My BOV was sticking, car had quite the vacuum leak right after a shift, and would stall occasionally when clutching in. I never really clued in to the fact that it was an issue, lol. This morning however, I got the dreaded turkey noise. A little WD-40 made a huge difference. I just can't believe I was so negligent.sigpic
