Cheyup! They do. But they are way different than full size sway bars. Since I have inboard F1 style coilovers, The sway bars mount and work all kinds of crazy. I have the middle rate front bar installed, with the endlinks cranked pretty tight. No rear bar yet, but it seems to handle exactly as I wanted it to now, with a touch more understeer than it had from the factory. It just spins like crazy stock, so I also got some stickier rubber. The combo makes for predictable drift and gymkhana style driving. I will have a very different setup for the 100+mph goal I am shooting for. Since parts are so cheap, I am probably going to pick up another chassis so I can just swap the body onto the drift or speed chassis depending on my mood.

I started installing my HID kit. Ran out of energy and ambition after bumping the hood prop rod and having the hood fall on me..... I think I'm going to have a sore head tommorow.....

Jack, I am not giving up yet. Turns out this is not an MP62 supercharger however. It's an MP90. 90 CI per revolution instead of 62 CI. That would explain how RR Racing was able to make 400WHP with this setup. I got a tiny pulley and a large one with the kit, I'm sure the tiny one was the 400 hp pulley, so I am going to try the large one first.

My thoughts are a high end 3 core Civic radiator, centered in front of the CS, where the hood latch is and between the fogs. Either that or a custom built exchanger that will fit my exact dimensions. And I might be able to modify the existing core support to make it all work, but I think that'll depend on a few other clearance concerns.

And lastly, I got another car today! A black AWD widebody Fiesta, with green volk TE37's, 3 different front and rear sway bars, fully adjustable suspension, and quite a few other goodies! More on that later.
400whp :O wow. Makes perfect sense though with the different cfm flow, that's like running an hx50 almost LOL. Sounds like you have your hamster wheel turning though!! I like the ideas, and I'm sure you'll make something work. I was also checking out the 3 core rads as the volume would probably exceed the BG ATX dual core rad, they look pretty beefy!

Also were you interested in that turbo at all? I never got a pm from you about it or anything lol just asking because I can get a shipping quote on monday if you want.

I say you paint it silver then paint a big blue flying V offset on it randomly (or w/e color your couplers are, afaik they're blue lol)

ya, my vw has an aluminum hood so I understand that concept lol...but isn't the HID kit p&p? It only took me all of 15 minutes to mount the ballasts and mobile.

Well, it is a plug & play kit, but I was having trouble finding a good place for the ballasts. I sort of regret not buying the slim ballasts. When I finally found a good place for them, I had to modify the ballast brackets a little for it to fit correctly.

After talking to Rafi through Email, he confirmed that the car only made 300whp at 9psi. The 400 was rumored, hence why I had stated it as supposedly. I plan on adding an intercooler and running E85, so I believe with like 14 psi and a little more timing, my 350 whp 400 ft/lbs goal is doable. I'm shooting for high 11's on 225/ drag radials.

I definitely want that turbo, buuuuut I'm strapped for cash ATM. Let me try to sell my t3/t4, and a few other things ASAP. A quote would be dandy though, just so I know what I need.

                  Oh dur.. this just in:

I also had plans to shift the engine 3/4" backwards in the engine bay. I have checked everything and I have plenty of room to shift it back, and I have a solid plan for how each mount will be modified to meet this goal. Shift linkage will be chopped and welded to shorten that, the rest should be cake. And I have plenty of axle articulation to play with as well, I checked that first. All this will open up a little more space, and it will help weight distribution a bit as well.

I started having problems with my clutch pressure today too. I believe mine was from my fluid level being too low, and air getting in the system. I'll have to bleed it tomorrow.

Crashed it last night at 2am. Went to take a slight right and hit black ice and car kept going straight. Car got sideways and driver front slammed into a guard rail in middle of the road under a bridge, my head hit the driver window and smashed it, my knee hurts, and my hand was a little cut, my buddys hat was outside the car on my side. The wheel took most of the hit but still havnt looked at it yet to see whats broken, not sure if ill pull the motor to build it or just junk it all together.

                      Escort vs guardrail:

Hood still opens and closes perfectly fine, windsheild is also cracked a little bit. After we crashed we were good and tried to leave but it didnt start and i seen the wheel was jammed under the strut.

I finished installing my HID kit. I am NOT happy with the output. It is brighter than stock, but only a little brighter than the fog lights I have.... I'm thinking about returning them and going back to what i had.... Does anybody know if mirage halo lights and a 35w HID kit would be much better than what I have? Would they be as good as a projector retrofit with HID? Also, does anybody know if these are actually projectors? It says they are but I don't know if they really are. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DRIVER-PASSE...sories&vxp=mtr

What's the #K of the kit you got?

Also, that doesn't look like other projectors I've seen, but it could be a very cheap attempt at it. Try theretrofitsource.com, they have some pretty good stuff. And anything that's slightly damaged is discounted, as long as the damage doesn't negatively affect the performance of the part. That's where I got all my retrofit stuff. If you want to go down that road anyway.

                              It's a 5000K kit. I don't know if I can afford a projector retrofit.....
