Those are just the engines at my disposal Jack. I'm not an FE3 fanboy really... (No offense Ryan, or Willy, or the rest of you guys. Your cars are all awesome!) It's just that the F2t is plenty capable. G4 is an option, but I dunno... I like the Idea of not paying money for the engine portion of my next motor swap. I'll need a transmission for whatever I end up swapping in, since I wasn't smart enough to save my BP g-series when I parted the supercharged car. We'll see what happens, but I really do enjoy the KL motor characteristics.

    Part of me says:

    F2T+Wagon=fun
    KL+5door=fun
BP4W+Old roadster like Fiat, Alfa or something=Win
    Current:
    68 Torino GT Fastback
    86 MR2
    91 F150
    94 Escort Wagon BP swap
    99 Escort Wagon BP swap
    00 Miata LS
    08 Arrow AX8
    14 Mazda5

the benefit of the F2T is massive amounts of available TQ when you need it- from not much displacement. And minor mods only serve to increase power figures

Already have a set. I'm stealing parts from my Probe. I'm still trying to determine the fate of that project. I wish I had another 1 car garage and a Tig welder... The probe would be so much better midRWD, with an SHO Motor and a BIG holset. I will probably build a rotisserie for it and store the car in my shed (with the roof pointing North instead of towards space) for a year or two, while I gather the stuff to make it happen.

F2T needs a real turbo at least.

I wanted to knurl the edges, but my knurling tool won't do anything bigger than 1". It also still needs an insert made to thread on properly and hold the boot.

Or buy a automatic. Problem solved.

What the cost on one of those? That's cool as hell. I can't bring myself to spend big bucks on a TMW knob.

Mazda has OEM weighted shift knobs fyi, if you like compact, then I'd recommend the 90-93 Miata piece. It's what I use!
