Did phase 2 fitment on the gt2560r.
Factory a/c lines and compressor are supper happy.
The bracket the compressor bolts to is less happy, and still needs more massaging.
With the sr20 inlet the clearance for the engine mount is really good, I had to bend the clutch line though. The port for recirculation is a bit too close to the radiator at the current clocking but I can fix that and I wasn't planning on recirculating to start with.
I also have mixed feelings on where the dump pipe ends. I'm glad it doesn't point as far forward as I was expecting but it's far closer to the drivers side than I was expecting. It clears the lower radiator hose too, I really wasn't planning on that working out so well.
It's going to be a very interesting looking downpipe.
Still that edelbrock elbow was a really great find all things considered.Beater=/= Sleeper

When you consider when they were first cast, in the late 80s, they're really great looking/as functional as you can imagine for the time for the cars price point. Compare it to the truck motor ka24 and its amazing it's from the same manufacture. I went with them because I don't like couplers directly off the turbocharger. Too many bad memories of blown couplers that ended in exhaust burns getting the damn things back on while stuck on the side of the road.
I'm still keeping my eye out for a Greddy inlet as it has a different bend radius and doesn't have the BPV recirculation port, but those are hard to get at a decent price point.Beater=/= Sleeper

Not the best picture, I think you might have an s15 one if it doesn't have the recirc on the inlet as it's moved to the intake plumbing on the blacktops IIRC.
I'm not saying the Ka isn't robust, it's got a bunch of garbage tech on it though. The intake flutter valves, the horrible egr system, the **** idle system. There is a reason the 240 didn't sell great in the US and the motor has a lot to do with it.Beater=/= Sleeper

unless maybe you have one from a Bluebird/Pulsar? AFAIK on the S13 SR the recirc inlet is on the rubber inlet hose, not the cast piece- I'm using a PBM inlet pipe setup which is obvs different, but a friend has two redtop SR-swapped S13s and both have the same cast inlet as mine (actually the one with the Tomei M7960 has an S14 inlet or outlet since the stock one didn't fit, can't remember which).
oh true, also I should probably not defend the KA too much since I've blown two of them up already.sigpic

Looks like I had it backwards.
I have an s15 inlet!
I've gotten a bit rusty on my nissan SR20 OEM knowledge, especially since I decided long term engine for the 240 is going to be an RB20.
I prefer the bend radius on this one over the shorter one that I thought was the new piece.
The thing I really like about ka's though is their basically free. I've driven less than 5k miles on the 240 and have had three engines in it and paid like 200 total for them. If only people wouldn't neglect engines before they swap them out I could of gotten away with just one.Beater=/= Sleeper

this dude is selling Greddy inlet and outlets for $20 + shipping if you feel like jumping on that.
also, the only weirder choice I can think of than an RB20 is a CA18 but like either way I'm not gonna judge.sigpic

I PM'd the **** out of that guy, thanks a lot.
The rb25/26 is a bit harder to shoe horn in to the s13 and it's fairly over engineered compared to the sr20 . The rb20 is also cheaper, sometimes even cheaper than the sr20. Replacement parts are a bit of a bitch though.Beater=/= Sleeper
