      I love 2nd gens. I really can't hear anything that any of you guys could possibly say . The jellybean look can be gotten rid of with the simple addition of a body kit or the jspec front end.
      The interior is also by far the neatest and best put together out of all the gens , 1st,3rd and whatever else.

      But this is just my opinion so ummm don't take offense...

          **** you all, second gens rule
          Last junk yard I was in there were like 6 MX3s a second gen, and multiple first gens.
          If I'd known then what I know now I would have jacked the seats and sold them.

            ok guys LETS not start a 1gen VS 2gen flame war. midnight and bruce both have good input in the 1gen areas. lay off **** i am tired of "mine is better than yours!!" yes the potential in the 1gen is there. i own one and i am proude to say that i rock a 1st gen, but dont rip other people's cars!!

                  I don't like 2g taillights, but the ints are great. I wish I had an oh **** bar in my car. I gripped it very tight in bruce's car. You know, I think being a passenger is a lot scarier than being a driver. I was driving my car taking turns pretty fast freaking my friends out, and it didn't seem like much to me, it's strange being a passenger always makes a car seem faster.

                        Yeah, I went to the local pull-a-part the other day looking for some MX3 seats. No MX3's but about 10 1st gens!

                            I found my first Miata in a junker last weekend. Just about broke my heart, lol. It had been hit in the front. However, it was totally stripped. Anything of any value that was left was trashed (except for the windsheild cowl, which I needed). At the Pull-A-Part that I frequent, there are always 2-3 MX3s and about 6-10 1st gen Pros. There are two DOHC models (LX) there now with an EGT as well. I have also seen two second gens in my travels as well (both 1.5Ls).

                            There are never any Mercury Capris there (same engine as the Miata). Fortunately, I found my first last weekend as well. Was able to scavange a few parts. I scored well last weekend .

                              I have seen only one miata in a j-yard, and it was a 98 model. It was hit in front and rear and the entire car looked like it was sandwiched between two semis
                              The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

                                every j/y miata i have seen was a write off. and if you get a clean body miata there is serois engine toubles and if you have damaged front end the engine is damaged. the problems with small cars
