EGR Air bypass valve solenoid - vacuum.switch ..Why

hi,

need advise regarding Air bypass valve solenoid - vacuum.switch because above part missing in my car.. previous owner removed it i dont why he remove it.(checked with same model car ).

Car Model: mazda familia
Engine:1500cc ,EFI
Model:E-BG5S
Yom :1992

just want to know advantage of having above device..also now im planing get connect same device.please advise me correct model no..part ##...(in my car still ecu wire line reaming for it)

EGR is basically for emission. It's not going to help your fuel econ. and the reasoning for how they say it can reduce knock also seems unlikely. Unless you're getting an engine light I'd leave it be.

Can you take a picture of you're exhaust manifold or where ever the hell the egr pipe is coming from the exhaust?

That's not your EGR. Your car does not have an EGR system.

The solenoid on the right is generally for the charcoal canister system.

The actuator you're trying to call an EGR valve is actually for the intake manifolds dual butter fly valve called VICS (variable inertia charging system) and helps with power in the higher RPMs.

I made a video a while back for the BP, but your B5 is the same setup.

what do you mean? Let you know the advantages of a stock B5 DOHC setup? We do not get them here in North America.
