    Brainfart regarding radiators

Bear with me... the rallycars' last radiator was a 2pass aluminum racin' thang off ebay. And we had to relocate the lower hose inlet from stock location all the way over to the lower driverside corner, to clear the turbo plumbing. Before I go buy another one and then mod it, my socalled memory is trying to tell me there is another radiator that matches a bg in every way except for that lower inlet... which is where I want it. Am I delusional and just wanna save some work? Well ai know I'm delusional, I think it's a good idea to rally a bg awd protege...

'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

So are you asking if there are aftermarket radiators that are forced induction happy?

Regardless, I would just get the Ebay dual core aluminium rads. They have good welds and the price is pretty much too hard to beat. Then you can just experiment with bend hoses and make it work..

That is the plan. We'll just cut the inlet off, plug the hole, and relocate it. WAs hoping to save a fabricating step buty this is Humpty the Rallykar and Humpty the Rallykar demands it's pound of flesh. Again.

Lol, I don't miss the complications of boost. But then again my BG is a daily with all options, not a tarmac slut. Post pics to help others??

I dunno that these pix would help anyone. How many awd protege bpt swaps with gt4 gearbox and garrett BB turbo conversions are out there, hmm let's see, um this one. But will prolly post em up anyhow as a warning to others.

well, mine, kinda, minus the Garrett BB turbo at this point. but, it's still in pieces in my garage, getting closer. I sold a set of tires that was blocking access to the car, now I can get within three feet of it!!!

Nee radiator arrived yesterday. Gonna stick it in there and try to route turbo plumbing around the lower outlet as is. We'll see...
