anyone tried the sprint strut + spring combo?

They want 95 a strut for the sprint struts. I would assume being from the same company maybe they would work well together. I dunno. Anyone tried them? If not them I am probably going for the MX3 H&R.

I know a stiffer strut would make me bottom out less, but I would still be about 3 inches off of the ground. They want around 400 for all 4 struts, thats alot just for freaking struts. I am sorry I know this is kinda thinking outloud, but I want some honest feedback as to what the protege community thinks.

the strut doesn't determine if it bottoms out, unless the perch is in a different place.

I would think that like mazdaracer told me if the strut is designed for a 1 in drop over stock at most, and you go beyond that, the strut would not be as affective, making it really bouncy and causing the strut not to asorb the impact of the bump as well as it should.

Is this incorrect? My problem I guess is that the suspension is not stiff enough for me. That and the damn lower tie bar is about 3 inches off the ground hitting bumps all the time.

I was thinking that a 1 in drop would be less and bring it up to 4 inches off the ground and bounce alot less over bumps causing the tie bar to hit the ground alot less.

i would trade my 2inch drop springs for anything! hell i wouldnt use tie bars enough for them to be worth the money, you prolly dont either unless you autocross...just take them off and sell them to some1 who will use them to there full potential....i dont meen to come across like a dick...

Hey I dont autocross, but I enjoy a god hard turn at every chance I can take it. I dunno, its one of those things.

I mean why buy a body kit if you are not going to enter a car in a show? Just something you want. Kinda like that I guess.
