Quick question, though, do you really need the extra turnbuckle in the middle?

With both ends already threaded, if you have a flat on the shaft, or just weld a big nut on the outside of it, that should make it easy enough to adjust. you're already running 1 LH thread and 1 RH thread with the turnbuckle, so just put the thread on the other end, and get one heim with the opposite thread. If the heims themselves have enough movement, it's only one piece that you've got to make, not counting a swaybar mounting tab.

Just something I figured I'd throw in there to see what you thought about it.

sarge....i like the input!!! thanks! Never thought about that!! that will cut $50 off the whole setup

I don't have a set of ttls to measure, but your drawings look about right.

Regarding the spacer, the rear link is spaced away from the hub by about an inch. Here is a pic of a stock rear link, you can see how the sleeve is longer.

Yesh, sorry I have nothing to measure. That was just a pic I found from someone's old for sale thread.

thanks either way for clearing that up. i'll look at that length and see what it reads... may just do an offset for the rears also to eliminate that spacer deal.

Hopefully they will also fit the 4WD proteges. We've been waiting for these for years now, a few more months and they will be ready for the masses. A huge thanks to Superpro for coming through and providing a much needed quality product!
              did you ever get these?

also by the looks of it the lateral links are the same 2wd vs 4wd, also rockauto states the lat. links front and rear are the same, althou i will not say rockauto is 100% reliable on there info about the 4wd pro's seeing they are so rare.

                  Looking for BJ bushings

I am on the search for some bushings for the BJ chassis too.

                  I posted the "other" forum
In the spirit of these BG chassis threads over on Clubprotege, I was wondering if anyone has replaced theirs? http://www.clubprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12951 http://www.clubprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14631 This wouldn't be the same as going the Megan Racing or AWR adjustable...

Funny how apparently the search button must not work. I built heim joint arms and bushing sets that both myself, Jim Pierce and a few others have used. For track use, I use the heim joint arms in back, stock arms with sway-bar mount in front. I always intended to make a hybrid version for the front arm, heim at one end, urethane bushing at the other, to keep the arm flat.

Has anyone ever gotten bushings for this without having to buy new LL's?

I thought those were only fitting the mx-3 ttls tho? I have those bushings, but they're too big for the 323/Protege stuff
