    stock bushings

Has anyone priced the stock rubber bushings from the dealer?

I'll have to call today on my lunch break. I need to get things moving with my car. Stock will do for now i guess.. They've got to be better than the deteriorated, smashed ones i have on there now.

i believe that the dealer only sells them as the whole lateral link... not seperate bushings.... besides the whole point is to provide an alternative and better product.

        Dealer is a joke

Ok, I just called the Mazda parts department.. What a joke!!! $115 a pop for the lateral links. Looks like I'll have to just use the stock Leteral link bushings for now.

So... I'm reading over the Polyeurethane replacement thread, and maybe i'm just having an off day, but it's not making alot of sense to me.. Do I need to order from both places to get what I need, or can i just call one company and order all the pieces needed? And do i ask for ZX2 parts instead?

What if i press the onld ones out and then reuse them? Is that possible? i have no idea about this stuff..

I apologize for these repeat questions, but i've been trying to find answers and options, and sources and now my brain is mush.

I was hoping i could at least get replacement rubber bushings for a reasonable price, but the dealer didn't even want to help me. If anyone has an EASY way to get these please tell me..

energy suspension is located in the US and is US made products.... superpro is not... i believe that the superpro bushings are more costly as well...i do know know for sure.
if you wanted to yeah... you could order up the full system from superpro and no superpro has listings for our car... energy suspension lists it for the ZX2/escort.... get it.... domestic made=domestic listings import=well alot more.
like i tried to tell ya, screw the dealer.... why reinstall junk?

                Thanks..

So if I order the Hyper Flex Master set for the ZX2 from suspension.com i'll be ok?

I believe there are some bushings in that set that aren't for the Protege.

only bushigns that the ZX2 shares in common are the Front control arm bushings, trailing arm/trailing link bushings, and swaybar endlink bushings.

so in other words don't buy the hyperflex kit. just order up the above bushings from www.suspension.com... i listed what they charge and the part number for all ES bushings we can use.

Ok. about how long will it take to get the parts once I order?

Thank you guys for all your help.

If I get back to the shop where my car is, I'll snap some pics so you can see what I'm up to.

oh wow.. I thought it'd be weeks.. I'm going to get some ordered up then hopefully this week sometime.. Does anyone know if the rubber bushing on the long bolt for the lateral link will withstand 350 degrees for 15 minutes? I going to cook one of my replaceable bushings tonight and see.. If it works, I can powdercoat the lateral link parts without pressing out the pushing first..

                            I'll let you know..

If you're doing all that work, why not just press the bushing out then back in again after the powdercoat?

Sounds like you're doing what I've been planning. Let me know how it turns out! (Post photos!)

                                push them out....

man... I've tried to push those things out with the press.. I can't get that bolt to budge.. Used the air ratchet with WD40 with no success either.. But i'm determined to get those apart.. I'll try more tonight.. sorry for the lack of pics.. i keep forgetting my camera.
