Didn't see it listed in this thread but Energy Suspension parts can be special ordered through AutoZone. LCA set is $29 and trailing arm set is $33. Just tell them you are looking for bushings for a 98 Ford Escort. They cost a couple of bucks more than some online places but there is no shipping and you will have them in a few days.1990 Protege LX

I wish I knew this too...I would have rather supported a canuck operation . I just ordered up all Super -Pro the bushing to do both the front and rear end on my 323 BG.
You show you carry Ground Control coil overs ... whats the cost on a full set up of adjustable coil overs for a 1990-94 323 hatchback ?
Oh and Viper _707 ... do you still want the fender /door molding off my GT ?

People who race cars of any kind think motorcycle racers are absolutely off theirs meds. Jason, PLEASE PLEASE note: i've found 4wd parts to be of different measurements then FWD applications. you must measure the bushing diameter to confirm correct fitment. (blame mazda for mismatching things)
Figured i would give you a heads up so you wouldn't place a parts order for the wrong bits.
In the end please post your dimensions & i will update the list.

hey guys, I'm reviving this thread. I know a company that makes plastic stuff and the moment they are figuring out if they're capable of making PU bushings.
how can I get an appropriately sized bushing? Should I take a OEM rubber one and take it there so they just copy it? Are there any dimension or diagramas for second gen?
what about the metal sleeve? can reuse the old one? do the have to cast the polyurethane over the sleeve or can it be inserted into the bushing later?
thanks pplGarage: Mazda Protege 1995, Z5 engine, MTX, P/S, no A/C, no ABS.

I forgot to say that besides casting I'm more into cutting the pieces out. making a big PU block and then cutting it out with a CNC could be much easier than making molds for casting. what do you think?Garage: Mazda Protege 1995, Z5 engine, MTX, P/S, no A/C, no ABS.

you threw my ambitions and excitement right into a pile of cow ****.
so you say nylon? I know delring is somehow affected by chlorine and it can be easily collected on the road ...
I think nylon is a good option since it's a massively used material. I'll ask them that too. this applies only to arm bushing? what are nylon swaybar bushings like?Garage: Mazda Protege 1995, Z5 engine, MTX, P/S, no A/C, no ABS.

NYOIL!!!! not just pure nylon. wikipedia it.
Poly is a good replacement & will last for several extremely hard driven years before showing any signs of wear @ all.
