    ZX2 to 323 Tokico's...Help!

    Can anybody tell me what is involved in putting the ZX2 Tokico SR's on my 323, I was interested in using the ZX2 strut bearings, but I wanna know what I need to do as far as modifying the car to get them to fit.

    I don't mind modification, but if there is something easier to do besides having to get the EGT top perches(unless they're not too pricey) I'm all for it.

    Thanks in advance.

        I got the perches and bearings off a crashed ZX2, and also got the plastic covers that go inside the springs for ~ $20. Wrecking yards are your friend, my friend.
        The perches will fit your car w/ no mods-as long as you use ZX2 struts.
        You're gonna like the set-up!

                me too! They work really well!! I like them over the KYB GR 2s i had in before. I've got about 10k and no blown struts!! the GR 2s where blown before then.

                    When you decide to buy the ZX2 struts, get 'em from John Bleakley Ford-I paid $155 shipped. Click the link;

                    Click on the suspension parts link and look for MZ1800Z2, it's $137.50 +shipping.

                      Thanks for the file. That'll be a big help in getting the suspension all set up. As for the Struts, are you talking about stock or upgrade, cause I found a set of Tokico SR's for $220 shipped, that's what I intended on purchasing.

                        They are the factory struts for a 97+ Escort ZX2, which are an upgrade for your 323. You can do better than $220. Like Bill said, go to http://www.johnbleakleyford.com/part...rch=SUSPENSION. Those are the Tokico SR's that you want for a much better price.

                            so whats the greatest advantage here for the upgrade to the 97 zx2 strut towers? does the zx2 come stock with tokico shocks?

                              The ZX2 S/R came with a lowered suspension stock that consisted of eibach springs and tokico performance struts. Of any non adjustable bolt in strut that is remotely reasonably priced, these are the best.

                              For the record, EGT perches dont work, they have to be ground out just like any other BG, which is what i did, it really wasnt hard.
