    broken rear bleeder valve/plug

I was replacing my brake lines with ss lines. and I broke my bleeder valve while trying to bleed the brakes.

anyone know how to remove the plug so that I can put in another one?

      Ouch, that sucks!

If the easyout doesn't work, your probably going to have to replace the caliper.

Heat that sucker up and buy an easy out kit. If that doesnt work, JB weld a bolt that is small enough to fit inside the bleeder screw hole..let it dry for a really good time and screw it out.

personally id buy a new caliper too. but thats cause after work i hate dealing with fixing things where it is easier to replace.

Yeah, there are other ways that you might be able to get it out, but it would be a lot of work and hassle. You could spend hours trying to get it out and potentially not succeed, or spend a few bucks and fix it for sure.

You can get a reverse thread bolt. Same principel as an easy out, but probably easier to find.
Too bad I have AWD and you don't!

Wow I did the samething a while back, I just said '**** it' and used another rear caliper I had on hand. It pissed me off too as I put a lot of time in to rebuilding the calipers. Maybe one day I'll try to get the broken speed bleeder out, but then I'll need to rebleed the brakes and damn I'm lazy.

as of right now, Im too broke to get a new caliper, and the JY's around here are just too damn expensive. its ****ed up...

I tried to bleed my brakes using the banjo bolt on the screwed-up caliper (even though I know it probably doesnt work), but I still have soft brakes. Can't even see the effect of having SS brake lines... it sux.

You're not going to get all of the air out unless you use the bleeder screw.

try the easy out they are cheap to buy and will more than likely get the job done. If it does not work save your cash and buy a caliper , they are not that expensive either.

I just got a pair of remanufactured calipers for $50 each, plus a core charge.

That is probably cheaper than you think, and is much easier than trying to get a broken bleeder screw out.

The freakin' caliper won't come off right now since the caliper bolt is stuck-in, but hopefully soaking in PB blaster helps out...
