just click on brakes then select 94 mazda and the next screen will have protege 4wd, protege lx and protege dx option.

the mx3 gs brake lines should work because the dohc has the same brakes as the gs mx3 and the dx protege has the same brakes as the rs mx3.

        silent bob, you are correct.

when i got rebuilt calipers for my mx3 gs, they gave me 22v 13 front calipers that did not fit properly but the brake lines did fit.

like i said in the post above, im pretty sure the mx3 gs brake lines will fit front and rears of a protege sohc/dohc. keep in mind that the mx3 as the same braking system lx and gs or rs and dx.

to confirm my assumptions, according to goodridge catalogue sohc and dohc proteges use different part number for brake lines. in that same catlogue it shows that the mx3 uses the same part number for all models meaning the gs and rs use the same lines. im sure that they list protege's as different part numbers for marketing and profit purposes. they probably charged more for dohc part number than the sohc one but the actual products are the same. they even list the zx2 escort under a different part number but i am willing to bet that it will also be the same.

I got the ones from Corksport to put on my (escort) wagon. I had to dremel a bit too. Don't remember exactly what I did though.
