OK so, new info found.! MX3 guys help!!

its come to my attention today that the following are true.
MX3 guy's i'll need your input on this.

    92-94 4 cyl & 6 cyl LCA's are the same part #
95-96 v6 LCA's are different the 4cylinder models. & have totally different part numbers.

Can anyone take measurements of 95-96 mx3 LCA's?

I'll go & take measurements of the 4cylinder & v6 LCA's from my local yard

ALSO how do i differentiate between 92-94 & 95-96 models???

        Uh...I don't recall '95 MX-3s in the US, definately not '96s.

Just look at the vin plackard on the door pillar for the date of manufacture and you'll see what year it is. Of course '94+ MX-3's got the completely different dash and seats. And IIRC in Canada '95 models got black cloth compared to the US's/94's dark blue.

95+ mx3 gs were equipped with the 1.8 dohc bp and the rs name was dropped along with the v6 engine for the gs. i think canada got some 95 v6's. a few of those have made it into the states. you can tell spot the canadian ones since they have the nice wrap around rear spoiler. the 95 gs in the states were all 4cyl

Any part difference in the rear, i.e. TTLs? Looking forward to you figuring all this out as I plan to follow along.

Actually the GS got dropped after 1994 altogether and 95 was the last year for the MX-3 in US. Production continued untill 1998 in japan. I think it was just a part number change for a redesign. The 92-93 MX-3 has a flat dash with slate style vents , seats with integrated head rest. The 94-96 design has the cock-pit style dash with round vents , Has the 2 piece seat/head rest design , also the 96 MX-3 was not sold in the US and the 96 Precidia went to a DOHC engine with a MAF system. The 97-98 MX-3's never made it to North america. That is really all the is different between the years along with different styled wheels and hubcaps.

                        92-94.
the 95+ only had a slight design change which i don't feel was worth the effort on mazda's part but oh well.
a larger circle on the bottom. big whoop.
