    Strut Mount Position

Hello Folks. Could anyone tell me in which direction should the front strut mount be facing i.e. in what direction should the side with the notch be facing. Thanks

I want to say that that notch faces the inside of the engine bay, so the two notches would face eachother...................I know that's where the little rubber tabs go anyways.

If it has the rubber tabs, then I am 100% certain on what I said to you, and yes, it is the factory position.

what exactly does 14' or 29' mean? its not degrees... is it hundredths of a degree??

would 14' of +camber be worth the 14' change in caster?? we must lose SOME camber when we lower the car... i know you are a big fan of the caster ryan, but i forget if it was positive or negative.

Thanks a whole bunch. I was changing the front struts and I replaced them inthe wrong position. I had a nagging feeling that I did the wrong thing. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Where can I get my hands in that PDF? Is it available for download?

That measurement is in "minutes". It's another way of measuring less than 1 degree...60 minutes = 1 degree. So in this case, 29 minutes is about 1/3 of a degree, and 14 minutes is about 1/4 degree.

The position doesn't really matter. Eitherway you will need to have an alignment done on it to set it were it needs to be for your car!
Too bad I have AWD and you don't!
