lca oh no!!!
so as much as I love the winter months I don't like ****ty roads. Monday I slid from end to end in the parking lot at my work not real fast but fast enough that when I hit the end of the parking lot it felt like a big accident, everything was just right that the front right tire hit level or flush with the curb and pushed the wheel into the back of the fender. After some pushing and pulling I got the protege out of the snow bank I lifted the front end to find the axle rubbing against the sway bar end link and the piece of frame that the lower control arm is mounted to. The control arm is mangled in a manner I have never seen before.
Long story short is I need a control arm, I have one coming from work but I won't have it for 7-14 bussiness days, not sure what the price is but it sounds like advance auto parts is fronting half the bill so I'll be looking at 30-40 dolars from a brand new lower control arm with ball joint, doesn't sound to bad to me but if anyone knows of after markets or any other models that will fit our cars and what else should I be looking at while I'm nder there. The strut is fine the axle has scoring on it from where it is rubbing and I'm not to sure about the rest.

seems like everyone is having this problem. everything was find on my car except the control arm obviously.
