Good times. Those should be great in conjunction with the stock springs.

I've got a set of the ones for the BJ, but they are pretty much destroyed. They were nice while they lasted.

yep, thats them. They got relatively expensive, but still $150 cheaper than from mazda. I figured that I was going to buy them either way, so even if it only saved me $50, I'd keep bidding. There's a part of my that thinks- meh, shoulda got a full set of GR2 or ZX2 SRs for that, but oh well, it would have bugged me not having them.

Something interesting- one of the fast guys in my class was saying that being able to adjust the rear stiffness is more important on front heavy FWDs like ours, and that I could put non adjustables on the front to save money and really not notice the difference. This is coming from someone who has adjustables all around and is much faster than me.

fronts are on order $480 for the pair with tax and shipping.
New boots are on the way too, should I replace the mounts while I'm at it?
The mounts look OK, the car has 100k miles. I'm thinking I should just order some to save the hassle if I need them. Are they a replacement item, or do they last a long time?

i'd replace them especially if you're auto-xing the car, i had a mount go on me after 50,000k, snapped my balljoint, pulled the axle out of the tranny, bent the strut shaft, and bent my tie rod (inner/outter) and i drove over my own tire!!!!

I'd replace the mounts. Might as well. Look on ebay for the escort ones made by tokico. They run like 200 I think. Lex runs them as well.

They're probably just quality factory replacement mounts.
