    Widest Rim/tire combo

On my old 323 i was running 16x7 with 205/40/16's and i had a few mm of clearance between the strut. but lately im thinking if i get 0 offset i can run some 16x8's? Anyone tried this?

0 offset will most likely destroy your fenders/tires. A member here is running 15x8" rims with a +35mm offset without any issues. Tire size will be the biggest factor in what you can get away with.

        Something like a 225/50/15 mounted on a 15x8?

The tires are ~$70/each at tire rack. I was thinking Diamond Racing wheels for the 323 to get my custom 15x8s on the cheap.

You can get the rota slipstreams in basically any size and color. Its like 530 for 4 15x8's
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

And a set of ZG flares to cover up the extra width?

(Seriously thinking about it right now)

225/45-15 Hoosiers going onto the wagon eventually. It started as a set of four, but two got lost in shipping.

No flimsy plastic flares for me, I'm going to make/weld some metal ones.

yea i was looking at this for a set of wheels for my car also but the only thing ad that i found from research is that there racing wheels you cant use them everyday becuase they bend but they are hella cheap for a 100% custom wheels

What's wrong with the plastic/fiberglass ones? It's not like they're going to get knocked off while four-wheelin' through the bush?

                      Or are they?

Rota sells the RB's in a 16x8 last time I checked... but I think its a 20 or 25mm offset.
