    so damn confused on compatability

ok i have a 92 SE i'm fixing up ... i have a 93 pro GT for parts and i am unsure of a couple things. i have searched but for some reason i need someone to slap me in the head with the info cause ....

    1. front brakes: i believe the front brakes = DX brakes in the US .. for a proper swap do the spindles need to be swapped as well ... or just caliper and rotors as i think the gt's brakes = egt or LX

    2. rear disc conversion from drums ... spindle + calipers and rotors + cables + hardlines + new rubber lines.... am i missing anything there ?

    3. i'll measure this myself soon as it stops raining i guess .. sway bar thickness. is it the same on a US dx to an LX?

does anyone have the mazda parts listing catalog on pdf? maybe that will shut me up for a couple hrs ....

    1) spindles and the 22-14 caliper bracket need to be swapped. your caliper (piston end) is the same. just a different bracket.

    2) i'd just swap the full subframe, or at least the TTLs to the spindles. you'll need the proportioning valve, flex lines, parking cables, and then calipers and crap.

    3) protege gt has a 19mm front bar AFAIK and a 19 or 21mm rear bar...once again...AFAIK.

apparantly the wagon rear bar isn't any bigger...21mm is the biggest OEM rear swaybar from what i remember hearing, and it comes on early EGTs i think....

I had a front and rear set left over from my old escort gt, then scored some rear NIB kyb struts are a wreckers...make them look a little used, got them for $60 LOL.

why are you doing your rear TTL bushings? you can just swap everything over. as long as the rear bushings aren't toast, you'll be fine. they're a very thin bushing
