Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew if the bigger front disc and rear disk setup from a 96 pro lx would work on a 1st gen? It looks like it should by eye, but I'd like to know for sure before I start pulling parts off at the junkyard.

the 96 brakes are going to be no larger than the 90-94 10" brakes... and you know for sure that those will bolt up. i'm assuming you have the 9" front brakes on your 1st gen...?
oh i see you are in canada...
look for the 10" brakes on the front of a 91+ escort. those spindles will bolt right up, just make sure you buy ball joints for the year escort they came from. 91-96 escort = 90-92.5 pro, 97+ escort = 92.5-94 pro... as far as ball joints go.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft.
