    Shakes?!

So at about 45+ my steering wheel starts vibrating.

55+ its shaking as hard as when I have both hands on the wheel its making my cheeks shake!

WTF could cause this? Im getting new rims/tires liek tomorrow hopeing that might help something, while swapping tires what else should I be looking for to cause this???

    Ball joints/TRE? iners/outers? What?

Tie rod check. Jack car up and place hands on the 3 and 9 o'clock position and shake. Exaessive play means tie rods

Ball joint check. Place hands at 12 and 6 o'clock and shack. Exessive play could mean bad ball joints.

Could just be a bad balance but at least you can check those while you're at it

late post, but if all else fails, do a tire rotation from back-front. if that helps its your rims. its VERY hard on your tie rods to see that induced kind of vibration. it puts a significant wear on them

Realign your wheels. Bad tie rods don't usually shake that much but check it out anyways.
