Protege GT Turbo Suspension as an upgrade?

Hey all! I'm looking for some information on a suspension setup I found in my local junkyard. Its a first gen Protege GT Turbo. I'm unsure of the engine, but as far as I know they were only sold in Canada. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm an Escort owner.

I was looking at the suspension while the intercooler out, and I noticed it was an adjustable system. With settings as Soft, Normal, and Sport. I would like to know how integrated that system is into the rest of the car. Or if its completely independent, so it can be removed and installed on to another car.

I know the parts will bolt up to my Escort, but I'm unsure of the complexity of the system. So, would it be worth it to pull it out of the car?

    Thanks!

You must be refering to the 323 GT from the late 80s, they're the only turbo FWD protege/323 ever produced/sold in the US and Canada.

It's a different chassis, suspension bits won't swap over.

    JACK.

      Maybe a Turbo MX6.

It was a Red Protege/323 GT Coupe. Body looked identical to the 90's LX with the BP in it. Well, without the back two doors... The Turbo label was the same as I've seen on other Mazda cars. The rear brakes on the GT were the only thing that was different from the rear brakes on the LX. And I think it was a five lug. So I'm pretty sure the suspension parts are compatible with my Escort.

Not to say it hasn't been done, but they usually swapped over a lot more than the just the struts...

YEP! lot more than struts haha, spindles too! but makes it stick out super awkward like.

the F2T swap would be great in a BG chassis, but you'd have to run HUGE spacers in the back to match the front then do some type of fender flare setup so it doesn't look like complete trash haha.
