    Trailing Arm Lengths??

I am using 99% of a 1994 Mazda MX-3 GS rear sub-frame and rear suspension in my 1994 Mazda 323. The 1% I am not going to use are the trailing arms. The bolts were fused to the crusty MX-3 GS, so I cut the rear trailing arms in half to remove the works from the car.

I have a 1997 Escort Wagon parts car. Are the MX-3 trailing arms the same length as the 1997 Escort wagon trailing arms?? If so has anyone every re-bushed them with energy suspension bushings?

So the trailing arm (21) length is different between a MX-3 GS and a 97 Escort, but it can still be used? Would that not have some sort of effect on the rear suspension geometry??

These guys sell new rear MX-3 trailing arms, I may just do that to keep My 323 all MX-3....well accept the Millenia JDM V6 engine........

Oh crap, for some reason I was reading lateral links. Ignore my post above.

I think the trailing arms from the Escort and 323 should be the same. Checking part numbers, the MX-3 and 323 trailing arms have different part numbers. But, my guess is that if they are different, it's just the bushing diameter. Like you said, for the suspension geometry, they should all be the same length. I am using ES bushings in mine (94 Protege).

If you can't differentiate between brake and break, you should go back to school

I have just about scared myself into new MX-3 V6 trainling arms. Mazda lists 323 trailing arms(same part number either side). MX-3 4cyl trailing arms (a part number for the left side, and another for the right side) and MX-3 V6 trailing arms (a part number for the left side, and another for the right side).
