    delrin end-link questions

    I'm making some delrin bushings and was wondering if the josh ones some of you are running look like the ES poly ones, or look differant?
    And wich place do you put the poly one in,or does it matter?
    Looking for thoughts, opinions, whatever. all help apreciated.

      the bushings that josh cut were similar to the look of a poly bushing. one side was flat and the other was tapered a bit. it doesnt matter where the poly bushing goes, as long as there is one in the endlink

        Do they have the nipples on them, or just tapered?

            Cool! That makes it easier! Stuff is hard to machine without the right tools.
            Got 4 done with nipples, put them on the rear, 2 on each side. Had to put the swaybar on by flashlight. Do more next weekend.

              any update to this? how did they turn out? do you have a picture of the finished product?

                Made 12 endlink bushings and two swaybar mount bushings from one stick of delrin I got for $13 on ebay. Stick size was 1.5" by 12".
                It made a huge differance! I can now take a local bad corner marked 45 mph at 90 mph! Car corners much flatter now, no noise from them, no extra vibrations like I thought there was gonna be. All good, no negatives! I love these things
                Got the mount bushings on the back, gonna make some for the front sometime this winter, and install them in the spring with my zx2 swaybar.
                I'll borrow a cam and get some pics this weekend.

                        Yes they do! The mount bushings make it even better, they are a great complement to the endlinks! My car feels like a comletely differant car.
                        This summer I replaced my nonworking struts with s/r's, replaced my rear Dx swaybar with egt one, put tie-bars on f/r, strut bars f/r, and these bushings and endlinks to poly, then to these delrins. And I think the delrin is up with the struts for best mod!

                          would you be willing to make me a set of these? (front swaybar endlinks, front sway bar bushings, rear sway bar bushings, rear sway bar endlinks) I have a stock '92 lx sway bar setup.

                          I don't have much cash, but if you are looking for audio stuff, I have a 500w lanzar vibe amp.

                            Cost me $13 for the delrin on ebay, and some time. Anybody can do it cheap with basic tools. I used a drill, two drill bits, a hacksaw blade, a small bolt, a dremel w/sanding drum, & a miter box saw.
                            I'm not home right now, but will try to do a write up when I get home.
                            I could do the endlinks, but I dont have any LX bars for the bushings.
                            No heat in the shop and 10 degrees lately. Not doing any more than I have to till it warms up. Will do what I can to help though.
                            Any Q's just ask.

                              Could you make me end links and rear sway bar bushings? The lx bar is the same as your egt bar, so......

                              the reason I can't do it myself is that I don't have some of those tools.....
