BJ/2nd gen Mx6 suspension on a BG?

I was just noticing that there are a few companies who make coilovers for BJ/BH chassis Proteges and 2nd gen Mx6s. Does anyone know how close they are to the BG chassis? I'm sure I can find out with a trip to the junk yard, but I figured if anyone knew off hand, this would be faster

I know BJ chassis stuff will work. You just have to use some washers on the lower strut mount bolts because there is a difference in width between BG/BJ knuckles.

It's a close fit, since it's all FWD Mazda stuff...but it's a bit of work to get it all to fit lol. The front's are the easiest, as Josh said, there's only like 3-4mm difference in strut knuckle mounting and it'll fit the upper strut mount bolt pattern.

Rear mounting holes are needing to be re-drilled and the upper mounts changed or re-drill your strut tower for the BJ pattern.

That is very possible lol I think it'd cost around the same to get proper Ksports for the BG chassis after all the crap you have to go through...plug and play ftw

I know my buddy tried BJ struts on his GTR, as the clevis width is wider. I can't remember if it hit the tire, or something else, but it didn't fit quite right.
