    Front sway bar

It has been suggested to me that I swap the front sway bar on my 91 EGT for a ZX2 front sway bar for racing.

My question, are the sway bars the same or different on the ZX2 and other 97-03 Escort models??
Is the ZX2 heavier or different in some way??

        All the same...GREAT!!!

        Thank you!!

Makes it much easier than trying to find a ZX2 parting out.. There are several Escorts parting out locally but, none are ZX2's.

Only difference is the amount of doors LOL, so you're good to go my friend.

+97 escorts also had a control arm and subframe revision, comes with a subframe reinforcement plate behind the control arms

Thanks Jack. Don't have any plans to change sub frame. Hopefully I will be able to install 3rd gen struts and sway bar.
Keep it simple and inexpensive......as possible any way!

Best to grab the complete strut assembly (springs don't matter) since the +97 use a larger strut shaft diameter, so the Escort/Protege/323 stuff won't swap over.
