Alloy Wheels And Tyre Change Advise

im looking to get new alloys (Bigger size) for my car.....

    mazda 323 hatchback (Yom: 1992)

    Current Size is following

    Alloy: 13inch
    Tyre: 175.70R 13

Mazda recommended alloy and tyre size is (Door Printed Striker )

    175.70r13 82S
    175.65r14 82h
    185.60r14 82h

Can i use 16 or 17 inch alloy wheels?this will damage to car?

Reason for bigger wheel is ground clearance is very low.

    Thanks for helping me...

16's work fine, 17's look cartoonish for these cars.

A 16x7 +35 will fit with 205/45's perfectly without rubbing anything, unless you are quite lowered.
    Current:
    68 Torino GT Fastback
    86 MR2
    91 F150
    94 Escort Wagon BP swap
    99 Escort Wagon BP swap
    00 Miata LS
    08 Arrow AX8
    14 Mazda5
