    Strange noises since suspension update

I changed my old stock dumpers for a set of kyb excel-G (GR2 in US i think) and h&s springs.
I also have changed the 4 upper mount.
I finally have changed the trunk damper (my car is an hatchback).

The ride is much stiffer, which is good.
On the downside i have some really scary cracking noise.
On the front of the car, the cardan joint are shot, so i suspect that they are generating the noise.
But on the front i can't completely figure it out. It seems that it could be coming from the taillight blocks. that's the only noise i can generate when the car is parked and that i jump on it...

I've checked, all the bolts are tightened at the torque specified in the FSM.

Did somebody have already had the same issue ?

Bonus questions, when i go over 90kph, there is a vibration noise coming from the left door, which seems to decrease when the window is slightly open. Is it a well known problem ?

for information, the car has no trim or interior, which amplify this noise issue.

Have the car professionally aligned. The noises could be lack of spring insulation or your front strut bearings are shot.

you're right, i should have done the alignment.
I was waiting to have changed the silentblocs first, but i keep postponing it...

I'm not sure of what you call the strut bearing.
The complete strut assembly is new.

Jack, the strut bearings and washers and **** are in the upper mounts, aren't they?

spring isolator is certainly possible, my first thought was maybe that nut on the end of the strut where it goes through the upper mount? whatever the **** that thing is called.

the biggest part of the noise come from the back.
so far the front is almost fine except from the transmission noise.

I don't have spring isolators and the only noise you'll ever get from that is an occasional "bomp" when the spring shifts itself in the strut perch.

You probably have an old rear suspension component that needs replacing that you either made worse during the install of struts or just they're unhappy that you have actual suspension forces now.

Just hit it all with a hammer till something gives.

lol, i love the idea of the hammer

i suppose my silentblocks are dead. Never had the time to really check but they are now 215000km old...

yep bearing sits inbetween the spring perch and the strut mount.
