No, but the struts are still out so I can get one tomorrow. It looks like the rust started on the upper mount where water can get trapped between the rubber gasket and the steel plate. I wonder if some kind of plastic insulator could be made to help with that.1990 Protege 4WD

Okay, pictures of the POR-15 coated strut towers are up.
Today I got both rears assembled and installed. The wheels are on. And that's all I could do. Tomorrow I'll get it off the jackstands and tighten the lugnuts. It's almost there.Attached Files1990 Protege 4WD

I sprayed quite a bit of lithium grease on the tops of the upper mounts. Thanks for the advise. I really hate rust.1990 Protege 4WD
