        i was thinking drums not rotors sorry bout the confusion, man those impact screwdrivers are f*%king hard to find around here and if you find one they are like a 100 bucks!!

            What I did was get my 1/4 ratchet, and use that with a 1/4in nut driver, then I put the #3 screwdriver bit tip, and used that. The ratchet is long enough that it gives you enough leverage like a break over bar.

            I also found replacement screws at the local ace hardware for like 35 cents. I put the new ones on, b/c I messed up the head on the others.

            The reason for them being there, is b/c you put them into the holes next to the holes they orginally came in and tighten them down. When you do they push against the plate behind the drum, and push the drum off. No banging needed.

                I used a sledge hammer to get the old rotors off... It worked.

                    yea, unless u want to **** them up permenantly, use a rubber hammer so you don't nick them up.

                        meh, he was replacing the rotors anyway.... but yeah, I might recommend a rubber mallet anyway

                            I'm not a completel idiot. I used a rubber mallet (dead blow) first, but that wasnt working, then a small metal hammer, then the sledge.
