Thanks for the info bruce95fmla and 91protegelx . I did the front springs by myself but needed a hand with the back ones. Really easy to do just time consuming. The lower center of gravity seems to help out with body roll . I still couldn't find where the metal coinlike piece went . I bought my coilovers for $66 . I have not upgraded the struts so they are a little bit bouncy not horribly bouncy just noticable.

Projeetprotege you could have gained knowledge and saved money by doing it yourself.

save yourself some time and have a friend sit on the front/rear bumpers and put on the compressors BEFORE you jack up the car.

O and Duct work zip ties will do the same thing as compressors. Just have someone stand on the spring to compress it.

Saved me a couple of hours.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

I really don't think you should tell people this. I was not really sure weather to laugh or wonder.

if they have a car lift they could theoretically drop the top 4 bolts and slide the spring in over the top I guess.....

And yes I used heavy duty zip ties. They were 4 feet long and 1/2 inch thick. Auto parts store was closed and I was determined to get the springs on. I know it sounds funny but the zip ties are meant to hold almost as much weight as a spring compressor and they are soooo much easier to take on/off. You can just let a little out and let the spring decompress slowly and more controlled than the forever and a day it takes to crank the spring compressor nut with a wrench.

Laugh or wonder, it did the job and it was simple and quicker.

Dont get me wrong, zip ties on springs are dangerous, just as well as spring compressors. Everyone should be extremely careful when removing/adding springs to any vehicle. I probably would not reccomend my method to someone that has never done a set of springs before.... as its takes a little foresight as to how the spring might move. Spring compressors are safer probably and that is the way I would reccomend for anyone who hasnt done a spring/strut swap before.
