Thanks guys. I hope to get started on these soon. I've been pretty busy lately with work and some other stuff, but like I said, it's a winter project so I got a few months, haha.

Well even though u have been busy, at least you are getting things together for when u have time. I am sure once the snow starts falling it will give you some time. My dad just got an inch of snow last friday night into saturday morning just an hour north of us. Time is drawing near, gonna be putting on the snows soon.

Haha Ace. And rusty, damn I need to get my butt to the shop and get some winter tires, ugh.

I need to stop doing house work this weekend and clean my winter wheels up, can't stand sporting rusty wheels, these things are soo ugly looking, not to mention they are 14's bluck....

Haven't started on the retrofit yet, but decided to compare the projector and shroud to the headlight housing. Going to be a tight fit, these things are pretty big. Need to get the lens off and the reflector out to really see how much trimming will be required, though.

I've got next week off from work, so I should hopefully be able to get the project started. I have an idea for DRL's also, but I'm not sure if they'll work, hmmm....

Started work on the driver's headlight. Lens off, reflector out and trimmed to fit the projector. Mounting holes are drilled. Trimmed the shrouds, but took a little too much off, well.... way too much. Luckily they're cheap, so I'll just order another pair. Trial and error is the best way to learn. If all goes well I'm hoping to be done this weekend as long as the new shrouds arrive this week. Couple pics so far....

I think the projector needs to be moved back a little more also. You can see too much of it from the side.

What are you going to do to the JDM headlighs? those are the USDM ones you've got apart right?

Yes, those are the USDM lights I've got apart. Once all the mounting is done I'll take the lenses from the JDM lights and put them on the USDM housings.

Nice it looks like you are making some progress. Did u bake the headlights to get them apart? the edges of the lenses look a bit rough now.

Unfortunately I couldn't bake them because my mom was using the oven. Then I coupdn't find my dad's heat gun, so I resorted to using a hairdrier. Took forever.

i am suprised you didn't burn up the hair dryer doing that, fyi i think ACE sells heat guns for 10$ hehe. Maybe i will find mine, almost have all my tools set up now, even though not all where i want yet. Gonna take some time to get everything laid out the way i need.
Gonna need to find a heater for my garage soon as well. Getting too cold
