So, I finally got to work on this thing. I brought it home on Dec 24th. With the nice weather finally here, I dug in.
Bringing it home
How she sat all winter
Here is a link to some more pics.
So far, I have completly gutted the interior, fixed hole in floor, painted interior with rubber coating, re-attached spoiler and front bumper properly, cleaned up the rust a bit, re-attached e-brake cable, new cv boots, and put some of the decals on, before they get ruined in the shop. Still to do: fix bent control arm in rear (parts ordered), and adjust steering. Car is pidgeon toed right now.
All things considered, the car is in decent shape. The guy I bought it from, lied about a bunch of things, like engine size, and he said no body work had been done. Now that I have ripped the interior out, I can see where the rear fenders were fixed. But, no biggie. Car is going to be beat on, and never liscenced for the road.
What do you think?
