Toying with the idea of getting a set of k-Sports for this thing. They're about $100 cheaper on eBay than ksport.com.

That's eventually what I'm getting. Didn't Firelizard have a set on his car?

No idea. I'd have to dig his stuff back up.

Only problem is they're $900+ and I don't have that kid of money right now.

He is? I'll have to message him when I get home. Thanks for the heads up.

Swapped the throttle body from the '98 onto the '97 to see if that affected the weird idle. It didn't. And it still gave me P0505 and P0420 codes. Next step is to replace the upstream O2 sensor with a new one and see if that fixes it.

Lost the hood scoop on the highway today. Went back to pick it up and a Porsche crushed it. Kind of pissed.

As if I need another reason to dislike Porsche, haha.

But yeah, I'm pretty disappointed. It showed no signs of falling off. I think Bo still has one laying around that I'll get. I'll just make fiberglass copies and use those in case this happens again (hopefully not).

Us BH guys have been having bad luck lately. My seller for the Mazdaspeed kit disappeared on me and won't respond to my emails, I recently hit the side of a pot hole and destroyed the lip on one of my wheels, and I can't find a single body shop willing to repair the rust on my car. Sorry for thread jacking, SO ANGRY!!!

Hard times for us all. How bad is the rust?

It's bad, but it's totally repairable. I have pics on my thread

It's not a good business practice to do +$1k worth of rust repair on a low value chassis.(which both rear quarters will go well over)
Just get a rust free dx from a no salt state and transfer everything over if you plan to own the car a long time. Plus it's a good excuse to replace hard to do wear parts like control arm bush.

Using Linux for anything serious besides server or software dev is like using a tin can and a string for telecommunications.

There's a few problems with that.
1: To make that affordable for me, I would have to do work myself possibly with a friend. I don't have much experience or a safe place to work and jack up my car safely.
                              2: I work 50-60 hours a week, and I'm always on call.
3: I don't have a lot of tools on hand, just your basic stuff.
I wish I had the time and know how, but I don't. I understand repairing the rust is risky business.

New toys! When changing a steering bearing doesn't eliminate seizing and clunking, throw $1,000 coilovers at it.
