not this **** again . . . if it's not exhaust driven or belt driven then it's not going to give you anything. you can't just slap something on your intake.

        Great Moments in Engineering

Finally, a logical, easily understood explanation of how this engineering breakthrough works, as posted on their site:

"Technical Data-How it works: All stock air intakes are designed to intake a certain amount of air. The intake ratio is usually set at only 10% of its full capacity. In other words your stock air intake is designed to only intake 10% of the air that it could intake. This leaves 90% of the air suspended from entering your engine. ..." P.T. Barnum, Chief Engineer

No wonder Protege engines are so crappy. Why the hell did Mazda design our intakes to take in only 10% of the air it could have taken in? What were they thinking when they decided to suspend 90% of the air from entering our engines?

Now for only $600, we can buy a device that corrects this problem. Well, as soon as I can save up for it, I know what my next mod is going to be.

lololol, did alot of research on this about a year ago, those 'in-line' superchargers are pathetic, if you really want one, you can biuld it yourself for about £70 or so, all it is is a model airplane engine and a micro switch!!!!!

Found a much better design on an Aussie site, havn't had time to make it yet, here's the link tho.... http://www.gaprojects.com/supercharger/supercharger.htm :D:D enjoy
