I need the weight of the 2nd gen tranny. Does anyone have one separated from the engine and out of the car to get the weight for me? It's for shipping purposes. Or, is there some place that has the weight? I clicked on "Transmission" on the FAQ but the weight is not there. I tried the search function on the 2nd gen area with the words "transmission" and "weight". It's from the 95-96 1.5L engine model.

manual will way less than an automatic but I would say the manual probably ways around 65-70 lbs.

I shipped an automatic transmission by fedex once. It weighed between 115 and 125 lbs including the pallet it was on.
