After installing my spec stage 1 clutch and breaking it in for about 130 miles, me and a friend went out to practice a few launches and after about the tenth 1 the clutch wasnt working and when u pressed it in it would be really easy and felt bumpy. So that night we tore out the engine and this is what we found of the clutch. what do you u think happened? Hopefully there will send me a new one...

there have been several guys having this problem with spec clutches on CVH powered escorts. ive seen a stage two and a stage three do this i believe. from what i remember their customer service was very good in both cases, and they got a replacement without too much hassle.

So do you have any idea why this happens? I believe it is still under warranty so i should be good, but will this just happen again? i sure hope not its a pain.
