if you have a 96 you might be better off with the odb2 version of the bp in your style.....

you really should go with a 96 BP
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

          Ok
Finaly I'm going to sell it....
and just buy a JDM z5 for about 500$

          that's a 20 hp gain
          And only 80 000km

And no fitting , it's bolt on ...exept that the intake is different

yeah that might be the best bet in your situation ... messing with obdII to pass emissions takes alot of the fun out of a swap and yes there would have been alot of wiring and in-depth diagnostics to get it to pass emissions

Where i'm living the only Bp in about 10000 kmĀ² is on a escort gt ..and i want to sell mine so
I'm living in Charlevoix ,Quebec.Canada ...a kind of far

I'm going to do something easier to swap ...like bolt-on :p
And reliable with low mileage like a JDM Z5-DE

I wouldnt be able to race against my friend with 20 more hp but still ..this is cheap, easy and reliable....the North american way

No, just kidding but i speak to my friend and we will be able to swap it in one complete day so ...sound good to me

Not here. I was looking for 1.8L brake setup and it was not easy. I only found some of it. And it's not like people have been raiding the yards for this stuff

Told you the wiring is different... You could use the BP thought, just need to swap all the sensors from the Z5 to the escort BP and find an OBD2 BP ECU and do some wiring for the OBD2 BP ecu.

I'm not sure the JDM Z5 is worth it, it's prolly rated 20 more HP because of a higher redline and maybe different gas, what makes it pointless. I honnestly don't know about that, it's just seems a waste swapping a 1.5L engine, we're not in europe here...
