No firing: Z5-1997 protege

well, I am helping a friend with his proto, and have a problem:

there are not firing. The transmission is new for the car, it is from mazda familia JDM with Z5 and the sensor located under the selector sensor its not the same, is diferent (use 6 pins, but the socket is diferent)...and.. my question is: work the sensor with the ignition circuit? thanks!!!

try to change the sensor with the one off the old tranny. if nothing elest take the sensor off of the old tranny and just plug it in.

looks like the neutral switch, won't fire without it.
