can't say for the states..

but look for a product called
VHT niteshades

hahaha, that is my stock hood that i painted to look like carbon fiber. Took about an hour and looks pretty legit unless your up really close. If any of you guys are interested I could post up a video of how to do it.

ohhhh.. i've seen that trick before..with some sort of mesh you used

yeah, you can get it at home depot. Its that mesh stuff that you put under area rugs that are on wood floors to keep them from slipping. It cost me about 30 for the mesh and probly about 15 for spray paints. I just did the whole think flat black. Then laid the mesh over it and put some metallic silver through that. Then when i took it off it was too bright so i misted the whole thing with black to dull it down. After that its just gloss and go.

It's been two years and this thread is still a sticky and slowly growing. I sold the pro about a year and three quarters ago. Been driving this since:



Still wish I had the pro though. The gas mileage is easier twice as good and it could actually corner in comparison. Someday I'll gets back into a protege variant.
