    Custom Front USDM bumper.

Anyone got one, or better yet, seen one for our cars? I got the itch to do something, don't know what it is yet.
This is my BP. There are many like it but this one is mine. My BP is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my BP is useless. Without my BP I am useless. I must drive my BP true. I must drive straighter than my enemy, who is trying to beat me. I must beat him before he beats me.

pretty much mold on a lip?

if your realli good with body work; throw in some fog lights on the side by molding in brackets..
if not mount em inthe grille in the middle..

I am thinking of fog lights and making housings. I got some friends who are decent at body work, and I am sure that we can figure something out.

        Here's mine......

Plenty of lights, they came with their own housings.

'course, it's a BG, not a BHA, so there are slight differences.....

That is what I am am after. With a little trouble, I removed the front bumper cover from my car and have marked out 36'' apart the openings that I will be using to put the lights. I have come up with the idea to use PVC as the housing for the lights, glassing them into place and them mounting the lights that way. Easy, cheap, lightweight. Below are pictures of the progress today.

                      The whole thing.

Left side has been messed up the entire 3+ years I have owned the car. Gves me another excuse to pull it off and do this and hit it with a good sand and primer while it is off.

This is the placement of the opening that I will be using. It will be 4.5 inches round, with a piece of 4" PVC (Which is 4.5" exact with a set of calipers down to +/- .0001 inches.) glassed inside of it. I have a step down adapter from a dryer duct(also PVC) that will fit inside the 4" that will bump the ID from 4 " to 3.7 Inches. The lights that I have have a 3.5" OD (again using calipers), that will give me .10 inches on either side of the lights for up down, left and right adjustments of the lights.

Hopefully if everything goes as planed I can rough fabricate one of the housings tomorrow. More pictures and updates to come.

I'm looking forward to it. I considered making a custom bumper with my NA bumper now that it's pretty much garbage.

Thanks, for the support firelizard. I have one of the rough housings setting right now with pvc cement. I have to go wire a DRZ 400 ( I have never done this) to a universal killswich/horn/turn signal assembly. I have never worked on bikes but I am sure I can figure it out. Picture up soon.
