that way they can charge extra for an "upgrade" and it's another way to make the higher models different

      It's really simple.
I have a how to on my site, but I have been really really busy and haven't worked on my site lately
I'm positive this will work for the clusters that have non-digital odometers but what about the digital odometers.

I got an instrument cluster from the junkyard which has a non-digital odometer. Mine is digital.

Can I remove the entire center cluster (containing the digital odometer, mph needle & numbers, etc) over to the cluster I got from the junkyard w/ the non-digital odometer?

I think so...when I tried to swap odometeres from my old cluster to my new one, the new speedo came right out, no problem.....the swap would have been the easiest part if the Canadian gauges weren't apparently souldered or something and therefore very much permanent

Ok so these are pics with the center mph cluster removed. In the next month or so I'll swap with my digital mph cluster and see if this works.

Hmmm ... might also wait for reverse gauges.
