    cel FLASHING

O.k. I know that when the Check Engine light flashes, its NOT a good sign.
I don't have a code for you since my scanner is 80 KM away, but is it O.K. to drive while its flashing??
I was spraying TB cleaner directly into the intake while the car was running (throttle was blocked open at ~3500-4000 RPM) as per the instructions and when I emptied the can I unblocked the throttle and let the engine idle for a minute or two, went to shut the **** off and saw that it was flashing.
I've since unhooked the battery and hopefully cleared the code that was already in there, but I'm paranoid that the CEL will still flash regardless.
Is it something similar to when you set a code that the light will stay on, but when the code is cleared it will be off??
When I hook up the battery can I expect the light to continue to flash??
    ****, I hope I didn't **** anything up too bad.

When my Z5 was dying due to low compression my CEL would start flashing if I let the engine idle normally during warm-up. If I kept my foot on the throttle and didn't let it idle below 1500rpm it was OK and the CEL never came on.

I am not sure if disconnecting the battery clears the codes.

      Yup.
Reconnected the battery, and all appears to be good. No CEL and no flashing.
Kinda bugs me wondering what exactly caused it to start flashing, but its not anymore. So I won't worry about it unless it happens again.
I meant to bring up my scanner this week and ****, but forgot unfortunately, but I'll be back at my parent's house Monday night and will just keep it and my FSM with the car at all times. ****, my car is starting to piss me off.
If only I had the $$$ to just ****in replace everything that needs to be replaced.

Oh yeah thanks for the insight.
