    turbo timer

I want to install aturbo timer on the protege.

what wires by the key on the steering column do i need to tap into.

i know one is constant power, one is ground, and one is ignition power... on the turbo timer... i dunno what wires do what in our ignition for the turbo timer... i hope this makes sense. i dont have one yet, but i'd like to know which wires to tap into before i purchase one.

    thanks.

I believe someone installed one before, if i remember correctly in their 98 pro?

also, do they make a harness for the 98 protege lx?

    i saw this

it said for mazda... but thats it, didn't give any vehicle specific info.

There should be a diagram on the mfgr website that shows the wiring...

well a wire runs to constant power, ignition, and ground.

naturally each car has different wiring.

the mazda website has nothing (manufacturer)

if you mean the maker of the turbo timer... yes I know what each wire on the timer does, but i dunno where they are on the protege.

There should be wiring diagrams that TheMan posted up a long time ago. Do a search and check it out.
