is there any documentation to this matter? i have YET to find anything. my auto cruises 110 at maybe around 4,500 rpms.. and at that point, you can't tell what gear you're in.. but even so, takes a bit for it to get there. i gave up on the idea, these cars aren't meant to be high speed drag cars.. simple as that, no time in your LIFE in the United States is there a ryhme or reason to travel over 100 mph unless you're in an emergency or running from the cops... ie, midnight beer runs, racing the neighborhood honda, and 'i wasn't watching my speedometer' are not valid excuses to a law enforcement officer pulling your stupid ass over!

Nonono, when racing hondas you have to atleast pass 100mph. Anyway, to each his own. Traveling post 100 may not be your thing but i know i have personally set my cruise control on 105 before.

I don't even bother with hitting those speeds much anymore.

I mean im not afraid to if i have to. But to me its more about acceleration, braking, grip. Top speed doesnt much matter, thats true.
